I would install the holder on the cabinet door. It will also act as door stop so it doesn't hit the wall. Will be in plain sight but kinda out of the way. If that doesn't work put a recessed in the door panel.Still be in sight and out of the way completely. Can put the recessed where it will be easiest to reach,right or left door.
