I kinda figured it was normally to be Indiana's home game. The thing is... I'd bet that the Baltimore-Washington D.C. area has the largest group of Penn State alumni outside of PA. I don't care whether it is Indiana's "home game" or not - as you said, Penn State fans are going to show up. I might wrong, but I just can't imagine Indiana fans driving to D.C. for that game - not the way Penn State fans will. It can be Indiana's "home game", but the game atmosphere is going to be in Penn State's favor. At least, that's the way I see it. I was just wondering if there was something going on at Indiana's stadium to cause the change, or just a matter of $$$. I think I can understand U of I wanting to "cash in", if they can. One other thing... I would think Penn State would play well against Indiana, and this would help in the recruiting process for Penn State to have a game in the D.C. metropolitan area. |
