The problem we will likely run into is our industry is very entangled in government policy, money, requirements, etc. If they want, they can make it hurt more than just a little in the pocketbook unfortunately. It’ll be interesting to see how the govt vs landowner showdown goes.[/QUOTE
So what is the next step for the carbon climate save the earth folks in elitist circles within the govt.
Kill ethanol so we can give another 9% fuel volume to the evil globalist oil producers so that big oil companies can make their own DIRTY AIR polluting oxygenates?
Try again govt….
Or, this country encourages sugarcane ethanol production in tropical regions of the worlds where deforestation pressure is akin to “broken arrow/code red” and call in artillery on your position coordinates of tropical rainforest/tropical diversity/exploitation of poor indigenous populations and developing nations.
I’d like to see the hypocrisy of this one…. Maybe some arbitrary date after a lot of rainforest was cleared and we started talking about the coolness of the cerrado….
Try again govt…
Folks really need to think about the “threat” behind the gate vs what’s in the pen….
