Subject: RE: Walk me through Deere Autopath & Data Sync

Leesburg, Ohio
We have found the same thing as bmatteson...the system randomly decides where to put the overlap.
It also will not keep tracking path lined up when lifting planter to cross a larger grass waterway....it treats the two sections of the field on either side of the waterway like two separate fields...the rows will always be where they are supposed to be, so you won't be running on/mashing down a row, but the path you follow will not line up from one side to the other crossing the waterway, even though the planter followed the same straight a-b line when recording the path. If the planter is not lifted up when crossing the grass waterway, the path will stay lined up, even if the planter rows are shut off when in the waterway.
They say they are working on software upgrades to fix these issues.

Other than these minor issues, Autopath works great! We love it, and use it for spraying, side-dressing, and harvesting, and recommend it to anyone.
