My great grandpa and grandpa quit in the late 60s when they started their Allis-Chalmers dealership. My cousin's quit in 1994. Most dairies around here quit in the late 90s and early 2000s. We started shipping milk in the fall of 2022.

Few more guys are talking about getting back into it. 4 dairies left in our county. And 4 or 5 right across the county line from me

Heck with cows tell us about the Allis dealership. Wife’s great aunt and uncle had the Allis dealership for a stint in town. We run a few Allis’s but no connection to her family being a dealer.

Late 60s- Mid 70s, my grandpa Jim Hall and his Brother Charles ran Hall Implement in Marysville Ohio. Was located on Route 4 just across the creek from the Elevator. Still have a few odds and ends from there, like the books from a few years. Neat to see how a guy whose son is now a very large farmer in the area, bought a used field cultivator for $150 and now buys a new full line of equipment almost every year.

After they closed, grandpa went to work for Evans Equipment in Large Ohio, another Allis dealer. And his brother went to Larcolmb and Mitchell, the Allis dealer in Delaware Ohio
