Early to mid 90’s most of them were gone and by 2000 just two left. One of those got out of it a few years ago and the other one is still going as far as I know. That one might be 100-150 cows maybe. Go a couple counties north of me and there are still quite a few.

I miss seeing the cows, don’t miss smelling them.

I find your last statement interesting.

Given that you don't like smelling cows - - - - do you enjoy the smell of humans?

No not really.

I’ve lived on a hog farm my whole life. I don’t notice the hog smell at all. I don’t know what it is about dairy cows, but I hate the smell. Beef cattle smell doesn’t bother me at all, just dairy.

Just checking - - - - a lot of cidiot type whine about manure and then seem to love the stench of themselves - - - which just doesn't make sense.

Manure - - - I compost mine but even so its only there a small number of days a year.
Septic tank pump outs and sewage lagoons - - - that's ALL the time!
