| If you like cows and are efficient I think it can be done on a small scale yet, but need a low debt load, Mennonites seem to be doing well in Clark County, at least so far, but for how long is a good question. There is a good feeling when you look in the bulk tank after the last milking ( I do miss that a little, but not enough to start again) before the truck gets there on a cold winter morning and see it is with in a fraction of an inch of the top! Might be a genetic curse???? My oldest daughter is intrigued by it and helped on her boyfriend's family dairy farm this summer, does not sound like he will stay on the farm, who knows he is young yet. | |
