CNY | My Dad was born in 1956 and he’s the kid on the snowbank in the first picture. Behind him you can see the new blocks for the new milk house with the bulk tank on the left side. Mark on the wall going up is where the old wooden silo was they tore down to make new milk house. Second picture is the silo coming down. So 1962-3? Somewhere around there.
The old milk house to the right has a big block in front for the truck to back up to and slide the cans right in the bed. Sliding door there we call the “can door”. When they put the bulk tank in they put the refrigerant compressor right behind that door so in the summer we’d leave the can door open and in the winter shut it to keep heat in the milk house
