I had an uncle that shipped cream in cans until he was forced out sometime in the late 1980s if I remember correctly. This was in Midwestern Ontario. I think milk cans were phased out quite a bit earlier but I don’t have a reference to go by. I know my father built a free stall barn and a Surge milking pallor sometime after 1966. Maybe 68? I think it was one of first in Ontario.
