NC Indiana | Drought stalks? How much harvet loss - header loss only, down corn??? Being your new, I ask these questions because there could be other issues you're missing. If good yielding corn and just harvest loss, figure 8# of fodder per bushel raised for cattle feed. Fill them with hay before turning out. I wouldn't worry about hay for a month. If you had drought (no grain) or down corn, you might want to rethink turning them out. | |
