I don't think the rotary head would do you much good. Those crop dividers will act like a rake and collect all of the leaves and plug up, I would think. I think you are on the right track with the hiniker stalk chopper, side delivery. We have a dairy in the area and they chop there stalks for heifer feed after HMC and they add molasses I believe to get the stalks to ferment. I tried that same thing one year minus the molasses and we hauled them out in the spreader. The neighbor said that would happen, I didn't believe him.
