Doing something similar. Shred stalks in fall then hit with excellertor at hard hang angle. I tried stripping a little this spring I to that and left sone to plant without stripping it. The VT planted the same I just lost moisture stripping. I'm thinking of getting rid of strip till machine. And just shredding and VT and plant .
