You can purchase a wireless mouse and keyboard that has a button that will allow you to switch between computers.  These work very good.  At least I thought it did.  I used Logitech.

I think some monitors have multiple inputs and a have a way to switch between computers.  I had enough space and bought an additional monitor for my work laptop.

This setup allowed me to switch back and forth very easily and quickly.
