Here in ND construction equipment gets taxed, even if bought for the farm. Skid steer can be exempted.
I got to pay sales tax on a trac hoe bought out of MN. It was delivered to me in ND, so I had the privilege of paying ND sales tax on something strictly for farm use. I found out the rules before I purchased, but Ggggrrrr.
