| I don’t.
I know how many acres of each crop I’ll have each year.
Then I make a herbicide plan for each crop.
Then I figure out how much of each herbicide I need based on the total acres for each crop.
Then I’ll order for the year based on that. If I go over a little when prices are cheap or under a little when prices are high, I don’t worry too much.
Semi load of roundup, 250 gal of generic Callisto, 5 shuttles of generic metolachlor, etc etc.
If any of them start getting low sooner than I thought, maybe grab another shuttle or two.
All of this calculating maybe takes an hour a year? Guess I just don’t see the need for a spreadsheet or inventory program of some sort and trust me, I’m definitely the type to overcomplicate things like that.
