Subject: Looked at the Crustbuster drill!

north central Missouri
My uncle and I took a road trip today and looked at the drill today it is in good shape as far as we can tell has had some welding on it and it looks good We just can't figure out how it would handle corn stalks for notill it has a notched blade in front of a smooth blade but no cutter blade in front of everything. It looks like it would be plugged up from the word go trying to drill into Bt cornstalks in the fall for cover crops so we decided to pass unless someone on here can tell us it will work.We usually plant ceral rye in stalks for cover and chop it for feed .

Thanks Chad
