Subject: Bought a new NH575 baler today

Alberta, Canada
It comes with a bale case extension. They say that's the way they come now when you get the hyd tension on it. I can see it being handy for really dry springy stuff when you want 75lb bales. But I make my bales at the 50-60lb range. In 1st cut we run with alot of hyd pressure and do have trouble sometimes when its bone dry with the old balers. So this extension may work well for that. But on 2nd cut (late fall) we run with way less hyd pressure due to the way the hay packs so solid etc.

Just wondering how guys like these extensions and if there is any thing I should be aware of starting out with this new machine and all the paint on things.

Rodney are you around? I know in the past you told me the low down on these things but I lost all the info.
