Monticello IL | There is a soybean that will be released forsale probably next year by eMerge genetics that can be ground and feed directly to livestock. The trypsin inhibitor has been bred down to the point where the ground beans will be equal to roasted beans. For livestock that can benefit from fat it looks like a no brainer to me. Dairy cows and hogs can both benefit from these beans. So do you think growing your own soybean meal is feasible? What problems do you see with this? | |
