| In a nutshell. Wife bought me a new laptop last fall, didn't like it at as well as the gateway I was running. Can't teach an old dog new tricks. Had one laptop in the house the other one in pickup, shop, office, was really getting used to having two puters. Old one died and I mean dead won't turn on at all. Computer guy says it's fried. Have all the data put on the new one now, getting along pretty good with it, and bang I go to put my data card in the PCMCIA slot...... goes halfway in and stops, look inside and the slot has different pins and is narrower 2/3 of the way in. Now I am really mad at new puter just when I was starting to like it. What do I have here? A new type? I thought there was a standard to PCMCIA?? Will take any suggestions.
