Subject: Doggone Survey Phonecalls

Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa
We can't be the only household that gets 4-6 survey phonecalls every day, can we? I'm off work today, and took the time to answer two already this morning, telling them that "we don't answer surveys for any entity at all so please take us off your list". It's not unusual to find 3-4 strange or 'unknown' listings on the answering machine when I get home at night. In general, the callers are cordial when I tell them to not call again, but the number of calls doesn't seem to go down. Surveys that come in the mail get a similar response................directly into the round file cabinet. Same with the "Free Renewal" cards on the various farm magazines that state that they have to confirm that we are elligible to receive the publication. The magazines never stop coming, and I'm saving them money in postage by not returning the cards! :)
Am I the only one these surveys bug or you answer their questions? Apparently a lot of people do, or it wouldn't be cost effective for them at all.
