Subject: Electrical service

SESD
Have a small lift pump for tile I installed in corner of my field. 1/3hp sump pump is what I have been running with generator. Looking to do something permanent. It drains about an acre, so don't want to spend so much it doesn't make it worth it to farm. Have power pole 15ft from the lift station, but Electric coop wants 300 for new service and 50ish per month minimum charge. So would spend 500 in minimum service every year for 1 acre. Not good. About half a mile across the field I have 2 10k bins that I don't hardly use much already. What size wire would I need to run half mile to supply power for 1/3hp pump? I assume solar may be too much cost for an acre as well?
