Subject: Baling cornstalks with a New Holland or Case IH

Stronghurst, Il
I've got a New Holland BR7070 with a crop cutter. I really like the bale it makes and how it performs in hay and straw, but I've always struggled to get it to feed well in stalks. It usually plugs between the augers before the crop gets back to where the rotor can grab it. Does the newer series with the "super feed" pick up do much better?
I've attached some pictures of the style of pickup I'm talking about. My baler does not have the top auger/beater thing
