OK I normally get tired of all my iowa buddies whining about a disaster when it makes less then 190 bushel corn. I traveled for some hog business accross highway 20. It looks fine, maybe not a bumper crop but its fine. My wife came along as she found a casino in emmetsburg. Wow, from mallard, north it is dry! These guys in Palo alto County are as dry as i have seen anywhere. Not sure how big of an area it is as I'm drinking in this casino but for the first time to my iowa cousins in Palo alto County it's God dam dry here. But for 30 foot of top soil it's going to hell.
