West Chazy, New York | I was looking at a site that sells supplies for home beer making. They have about a dozen different varieties and you can buy as little as a pound up to a 55 pound bag. A 55 pound bag is $89 which is about 70 a bushel. It looks like it went through a seed cleaner and a length grader plus storing the varieties separately would be a nuisance but that seems like a good price for barley. We're actually in a good location to grow small grains. Anyone ever been in the home brewing market who can tell me all of the hidden costs that I wouldn't know about until I got into it? | |
