Subject: Case Ih 1250 Population Monitor

We have a 2012, 12 row Case Ih 1250 planter. Its hydraulic drive and is run through a pro 700 monitor. We purchased the planter new, but for the last 3 years have been battling intermittent issues with the population monitor. Certain rows will slowly start to show the population dropping off until not planting or just showing a very low population, When you get out and dig, the seeds are there at the correct population. It is also not consistent. Some days several rows will have this issue, some days one, some days none and not always the same rows are affected. Another issue is when going up a hill, the population of the whole planter will go down. When you turn around and go down the hill, population is fine. Again, when you check the field the population is where you wanted it to be. We have replaced seed sensors, did a diagnostics test for the seed sensors, had a mechanic do diagnostics on the wiring to see if any wiring issues and have gotten no where. Also, the monitor is also set to the tractor gps as the priority speed signal. Has anyone experienced these issues or have an idea of what else to looks at? The planter does a great job but the population monitor makes planting stressful.
