I have heard that hanging weight for beef is right around 62%, but when you actually get it all packaged up what percentage do you end up recieving? steers will be weighing 12-1300lbs. Also i have been wondering what people think about the alfalfa pellets...are they quite a bit more efficient and all around a better deal than feeding alfalfa hay in a bunk?
