Subject: Re: follow up post--- progress on the barn

West Union, IOWA FLOLO Farm 52175
We overlapped each sheet 1 extra rib to comeup with the 13stripes/sheets and give them an equal spacing......came out right to the 1/16 on the peak.(I know we splurgged) For the penny pincher crowd,we actually only used 1 extra sheet this way,so the extra cost for something to be proud of will be 84 exrtra feet of steel and the cost of the stars= Worth it to me.

The north side of the barn and the house will be "charcoal" when finished to match the shop. My dad asked why we didn't do the North side the same -- It would've been a real challenge with the silo room, hay mow dormers and milkhouse to go around + i'd had to walk out and see it ALL the time.
