west central Iowa | We have the original JD trashwipers on our 7000 planter, they did the same thing for us. Ours hooked toward the rear of the parallel linkage arms. We moved them forward and this really helped!! Now we can set them to move just a few clods if we want. We found the original mounting instructions and we had them on right, but forward worked much better for us. By mounting more forward they have less up pressure on the row unit also. | |
