North Central Kansas | The first time you go over a dip on one side or pull in a field and accidently drop the back axle off you will wonder why you put that big of a box on. They are very top heavy. Have been around several. The only one I ever liked was a double hopper (a 400bushel parker divided in the center into 2-200 bushels hoppers) it was mounted on a twin screw truck and was very stable. The others I hated to drive any distance at all. Neigbor has a gooseneck set up with a 400 bushel parker with tandems. It pulls pretty good. It is low to the ground and not tippy like a truck. Truck has a wet kit to run the auger. Works pretty good. | |
