Subject: RE: Deere 1770 - Selecting the right one

I have the same style toolbar as the 1770 NT (but, on a different brand of planter). It has an amazing amount of flex. Mine is a 12 row and flexes 4-4-4.

I used to have a 7200 vac planter. They are pretty good, but get one that you can put in the e-set updates (all 1770s should be possible).

The front fold is usually a 2 pt hitch. There some models/brands hook to the drawbar so that you can use a tractor without a 3 pt. You'll raise the 3 pt for transport and put it down to level the toolbar in the field and leave it down while planting until you fold to go to the next field.
