Oklahoma | I was told a similar thing. A couple people wanted to see things quantified if possible. Also told me if space was available to show "problem, reaction, result" so it showed that you could adapt, make decision, and work through stuff. It won't fit on a one page resume but something to maybe think about. Could be anything like upgrading equipment, makeing it more efficient, adapting varieties or something.
One other thing, when I was in high school and working on a pipeline crew, we had need of an "experienced" backhoe operator. Had a guy apply that brought in a one page resume that was a typical resume with companies worked for and what they did. Instead of listing all the equipment he ran on that page though, he put a comment in it something to the effect of "see attachment for equipment experience". Then the second sheet was a list of every peice of equipment the guy had experience operating, maintaining, and/or repairing. When he showed up for the interview in the field, boss asked him a random question or two about a couple pieces of equipment on the list, and figured out he wasn't lying. He was a freaking awesome operator.
Good luck. | |
