I hope you like to shift. Those little motors are weak. Should be limited to city traffic. Go for a C15 with at least 500 hp. As long as you have a good driver running it (shifting at lower rpms, using the hills, keeping exhaust temp down) should make better fuel mileage than any c12 or 13. I've ran both, the more power i had to work with, the better mileage i was able to pull.

Some is just opinion, but a lot of the info is factual.

Big trucks are just like diesel pickups, the more power, the better the mileage as long as properly driven.
