North central North Dakota | I have been using Quickbooks Pro for many years. I used to use it more for articles sold, labor and mileage when I did photography on the side many years ago. Now I use it for sales I do part time of parts I sell and have to collect sales tax for which QB makes it easy to do. The price of the desktop version has gotten higher and no specials that I have seen the past year or so. They are trying to get everyone on the online version and pay a monthly (yearly) fee. I don't think QB will do investment income very well for you since Quicken had been known to do a better job of that for wage earners who want to keep track of their investments. I still have three part invoices that I keep at the shop to write up invoices and then just enter them into my computer at my home office. Yes, if I had online version it would probably save me some time but I will stay with my desktop version for now. |
