Radio frequency spectrum is finite and expensive. Government offers some of it in competitive bidding.
Winning bids have exclusive rights to transmit in their spectrum band.

Efficient use of spectrum bands is needed to maximize financial return on those assets in 5G.

Self Interference Cancellation (SIC) is an emerging technology that can double spectrum efficiency:

5G rural is a pipe dream at this point.

Maybe you are prepared to pay for a repeater at each leg until your place.
