Subject: Re: Verticle Tillage?

We made one this year out of a Glencoe soil finisher and a GP rolling harrow and rolling basket. HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO USE IT YET!!!
On some trial passes, we noticed that the harrows are almost too heavy for the frame. The biggest thing is that there is little clearance for transport. To get the harrows off the ground, we had to lower the front significantly. Course, in the field, it really digs in and throws the dirt. Still a work in progress. Just wish we had some dry land to use it on.
