Southeast South Dakota | If you sign into onedrive with the same credentials - and told files to sync - they will sync
It used to be you were allowed to buy one copy of Office 20xx and install it on both a desktop and laptop (they figured they were both you)
Remember there is a difference between the boughten version (Office 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019) and the subscription version of Office (Microsoft 365 - used to be Office 365))
I also believe if you are a subscriber you are installed to install Office 365 onto 5 devices.
