Add a guy from India who doesn’t speak English. = Not a very good deal. Dell is poisoning the minds of uneducated shoppers. By their high end marketing techniques ( If only they put that much effort in designing their systems) Some things to know about Dell 1.) Most Power supplies are not UL approved ( AKA battery and charger recalls on over a million laptops ) a. If you want a fire hazard in your home buy a candle. They are cheaper 2.) Adware and Spyware comes pre installed ( They only thing that is free is the advertisement they load on it ) 3.) Processors and hard drives have a one year warranty (Dell uses other manufactures part most of the time not following recommended specifications on its use and installation. (Ex: Intel processors have a 3 year warranty not 90 days like dell puts on their system and since they are installed with a passive heat sink this voids any warranty with Intel.) Good and Bad of Both custom built and Big Name PC manufacture EX: Dell Local Guy Price looks attractive A little higher priced most times the same STD. Warranty 1 year Std Warranty 1 year with additional 2 years on main components ( HDD, processor, MTB) Does not speak English Speak very good English Lives very far away lives close buy (Can pull across the counter and beat the **** out of, If he pisses u off) 24/7 support is in the same time zone (Who stays awake 24 hours a day?)
