Somewhereville, Earth
had a bad experience with a customers and his MX255 once

std hyd hose (R2AT and R12) is rated to 100 degrees C (212 degrees F)......he cooked the hoses, trans shuts down at 120 degrees C (248 degrees F)....time and time again

you should be operating no more then 100 degrees C......seriously think you should not be going over 70 degrees C (158 degrees F).......

what model MX and do you have the trans oil coolers on the front by the radiator? they are long and narrow things,

my customer was operating a valve, pushing a cylinder and holding it in on constant pumping, so the trans was operating on high standby pumping across the reilief.....and he was running two fans, with a free dump......he later put a oil cooler on the return for the hyd motor, but took over the cross over relief cause he thought he didn't need it, and cracked the cooler........this tractor has boiled the oil on numerous occations, and still goes, i hate to think what the orings in the trans are like.
