I've found the metering on alfalfa to be pretty consistent year over year, although the chart is not perfectly accurate. The grass boxes are much more variable, even with the agitator in the bottom. If the seeder gets bounced around a bunch, the seed can get packed into the bottom of the box, and flow is affected a bit.
