| The reason I choose this tractor is because I have owned a couple over the years which has allowed me to know the make up of the tractors configuration. Basically all that was required of the tractor was the 3-pt hitch, frame, and axle. We shortened the frame approx. 20" and lowered it 8" by moving the top half down, blocked the frame so that it would not pivot on the axle, removed the steering rams and replaced them with stiff arms, and slung a 8x10 tongue underneath. The only limiting factor of the machine may be the axle and lift cylinders. I really want to put the 12 row unit on. We'll see. Total cash investment $4200.00 including tank and pump. | |
