Yorktown, TX | I've got a 567 with the big tires add on, and my dad has a 568 with the big tires add on. The idea of big tires is good, but they are EXPENSIVE to replace, and we puncture them quite often. I was wondering if I could replace those tires and rims with airplane tires with the same diameter and close to the same width. I would have the advantage related to the diameter, but those airplane tires are a lot harder. Am I going to beat my baler to pieces? We bale coastal hay at speeds ranging from 6.5-9.5 mph. Just wondering cause the airplane tires with the rims are around 1/3 the price of one of the JD tires. TIA | |
