I was recently told that if you wet a skunk down with water it can't spray. I'm not sure how you go about doing it, but they told me to make a mist like a rain and soak them good and then you can shoot them without spraying.
Good luck with that plan....... Ive trapped some skunks before. Trust me,skunks DO spray in the rain!
Id go with the tarp over the trap and drag away method..........move very slowly when doing this though. Even if you kill the skunk without it spraying, when it goes limp it looses body control of its organs and most of the time the scent will escape the body and stink some.
