Years ago I pulled a 4 row wide and dry fert with a JD 1010 gas burner one day.....no extra power but it did the job.

Your 6 row will be fine behind the DX if you don't put the planter in the ground.. 8-)

For moving stuff around, I built a drawbar that clamps onto the skid loader bucket. Your 3 pt tool would be very handy
