Subject: Re: HP to pull dawn striptil units

NorthEast Iowa,
We pull a 16row Harvest International bar with a 9 ton Montag cart behind with a NewHolland TG305 that dynos 295 hp fully dualed. Full of fert and up some slopes
we can run 6-7 mph, leveler ground and 4 ton fert we can run 7.5-8.5 mph with ease. Two other rigs in Butler Co. IA that are 16 row Harvest International bars with the
6ton hopper mounted on the bar are both pulling with a MX270 at similiar speeds. So to add 8 more rows, the weight of more bar and NH3 and would say at least 375 hp.
