| Depends on the size of the planters. The smaller ones, the marker cylinder is on the right hand side. Take out the shear bolt on the marker after you lower the markers and swing the marker to the rear. Unhook the cable. Be sure to tie a wire or string to the left cable end. The cylinder an alternator unbolts, and slides out. While its out rake out 30 years of mouse nest accumulation.
Larger planters use hydraulic alternating valves and separate operators for left and right markers, I think. Since my planter is small, I don't have the manual for the large ones memorized and they are different for straight, flat folding and vertical folding models. I don't have a manual for either folding style.
There are 7000 manuals on ebay that have a world of useful information.
