| Matts, I'm glad to hear you are having good weather for your spring work. Western SD USA had some areas with up to 6 inches of snow today. There was enough snow this morning here to make grassy areas white. Bare areas like roads had enough heat in it the snow did not stay long. All of the snow has melted off now this afternoon as it has continued raining with temperatures slightly above freezing.
There is a lot of winter wheat in my area but I don't plant or harvest grain crops myself. I have a cow/calf beef ranch with mostly Hereford and some black Angus cattle. I harvest hay in the summmer and sometimes have to reseed a field of alfalfa. Otherwise I do no tillage or farming.
