I used a piece of angle iron about 2 x2 for the base and a piece of 1 in x 1/4 thick flat bent on the top end horizontally to form a handle about 4 in wide. I thought I had some pictures of it but didn't find them. I just bolted this to the floor and the original shift cable was used.
