although it is early, it seems that the mortality rate isn't real high.

Also good news... seems so far that children aren't dying at a high rate. That is my worst fear, that I would survive and my kids wouldn't.

Also appears to be more virulent to the mexican population so far. A myriad of possible reasons for that.

Genie is definitely out of the bottle for this strain. Whatever may come will come, as it is too late to contain. All efforts at containment are strictly political at this juncture imho.
