The STS Hagies, and even the later DTS machines are using an internal speed sensor that sends a signal equivalent to a radar signal. Therefore, the Raven needs to be set to SP-2.
I agree that you need to measure off a distance, and check the speed cal number according to that. 317 isn't too far off. I recall 312 in a few of them.
