West Texas | Years ago in Holland we planted some type of lilly's for a customer. We used a special planter with people riding in the back to pull the clumps apart and drop them in the furrow. Maximum speed was as slow as the tractor would go with a creeper transmission. Took like a week to plant10 acres. The planter was homemade but very similar to a bulb planter or a potato planter. But the back were the people rode was completely enclosed. | |
